U.S. Intelligence Careers Student Programs and Scholarships

The U.S. Intelligence Community offers a wide array of scholarships and programs. Please visit their website for descriptions of these programs.

Applications each year run from September 1st through November 15th.

Minimum Qualifications

  • You must be a U.S. Citizen
  • You must be eligible to be granted a security clearance
  • Applicants should have a minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scal
  • You must be a High School Senior at the time of application
  • You must achieve a minimum SAT/College Board Score of 1200 (600 Reading and Writing AND 600 Math) or ACT score of 25
  • You MUST be majoring in either Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering
  • You must submit your online application and hardcopy documents during/before the application period, which begins in late summer/early fall

  • One-Page Essay: “Why I want a career at NSA”
  • Official Transcripts from High School
  • 2 Letters of Recommendations (must be from teachers from technical classes)
  • Verification of SAT or ACT Scores
