The Alfred Street Baptist Church Foundation is offering need-based scholarships for graduating seniors who will enroll in a four-year college or university in the fall of 2023. Since 2007, the Foundation has awarded more than $2.5 million in scholarships to more than 540 high school students in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. In 2022, 83 high school seniors received $236,025 in scholarships.

This year, scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $30,000 will be awarded to students who are U.S. citizens, accepted to and committed to attend a four-year college or university in the fall of 2023, and have financial need. The Foundation’s scholarship committee will review applications in May, interview finalists in June, and select winners and award scholarships no later than July 2023.
The application deadline is April 15, 2023.
